Digital and Social Media Marketing MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) developed through a partnership between five European universities and launched in autumn 2015 is nominated for Digital Leaders 100 Award. Voting is open until May 27.
The Course was developed by five European universities (Kaunas University of Technology, University of Salford, University of Lodz, University of Sheffield International Faculty, CITY College, and University of National and World Economy (UNWE)). It helped people willing to have a career in business to develop their individual and professional digital skills, the emphasis of the course was on boosting international trade prospects. Up to this day, over 14,000 students from 168 countries have enrolled to the course. The success with student recruitment earned the course a nomination in prestigious Northern Digital Awards 2016.
Digital and Social Media Marketing MOOC (marketed using #passion4digital) is shortlisted in the Digital Inclusion and Skills Initiative of the Year category. Voting is open HERE until May 27. The winner will be announced on June 15.
