7 candidates continue seeking to lead KTU ERA Chair project IN4ACT

First in Lithuania ERA Chairs project “Industry 4.0 Management and Economics”, carried out by Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), received 17 applications for the position of Principal Investigator. 7 of them were approved for the next selection phase.
The selection results were approved by the European Commission.

 

14 applicants has PhD in Economics, Management and Business, 3 in Engineering and Industrial Engineering. Applications came from North and South America, Asia, Europe, and Australia researchers.

 

The position of Principal Investigator will start on October 1, 2019 (duration of the contract: 4 years). Then a competition for the other 5 members of the project team will be announced.

 

The objective of the IN4ACT project is to implement structural changes at the Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) School of Economics and Business through the opening of an ERA Chair in “Industry 4.0 Management and Economics” research, to increase research excellence, socio-economic impact, international reputation, and attractiveness to international talented researchers and students.
