International Opportunities for Young Entrepreneurs: Join the EYE Programme

The KTU School of Economics and Business invites everyone with a business idea or early entrepreneurial experience to join the international Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) programme. This initiative offers young entrepreneurs a unique chance to enhance their skills, understand international markets, collaborate with experienced mentors, and take confident steps toward starting or expanding their business.

🌍 About the Programme:

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a business exchange initiative funded by the European Commission. It provides new or aspiring entrepreneurs with the opportunity to collaborate with experienced business owners abroad.
During the visit, participants take part in real business activities, observe company operations, gain hands-on experience, and further develop their own business plans.

The programme lasts from 1 to 6 months, and the collaboration takes place directly with a host entrepreneur-mentor. Participation is open to entrepreneurs from all business sectors.

🎯 Programme Benefits:

Participation in the programme offers much more than a typical internship because it is an opportunity to:

  • gain practical experience in business management and development;
  • learn how to overcome the first entrepreneurial challenges;
  • expand your international network and build long-term business partnerships.


👥 Who Can Participate
?

  • individuals with a new business idea;
  • new entrepreneurs with less than 3 years of business experience;
  • participants aged 18 and above (no upper age limit).

Participation in the programme is open to everyone, regardless of nationality, sector, or education — the key is motivation to grow and learn from experienced entrepreneurs.

💶 Funding:

Participants receive a monthly grant of up to EUR 1200, depending on the host country.
The programme is free of charge, accommodation and living expenses are partially covered.

The EYE programme includes all 27 EU member states and additional participating countries such as Singapore, the United States, Norway, Iceland, Turkey, Albania, and more.

  • receive answers to all practical questions.

Consultations are free of charge, and registration takes only a few minutes.

💡 Oleksii’s Business Idea: ConectaApp

💬 Oleksii discovered the EYE program through a friend at university and decided it would be an excellent opportunity to pursue his ambitions with the ConectaApp project. As a young entrepreneur passionate about fintech and community building, he was drawn to the program’s promise of hands-on learning from established business owners.

His main motivation was to understand how successful businesses operate in practice, beyond theoretical knowledge. He expected to gain valuable insights into entrepreneurship, expand his professional network, and experience Spanish business culture. The opportunity to work alongside experienced entrepreneurs while developing his mobile application for freelancers and entrepreneurs seemed like the ideal way to validate his business ideas and acquire practical skills in financial management and community building within the vibrant Spanish startup ecosystem.

💡 Taras’ Business Idea: ModerateAI

💬 Taras discovered the EYE program through a university friend who believed it aligned perfectly with his entrepreneurial ambitions for ModerateAI. As a 21-year-old startup founder in the IT sector, he was motivated by the remarkable opportunities the program offered: learning real business operations from an experienced entrepreneur, building valuable professional networks, and experiencing Greek culture firsthand.

His primary goal was to understand how to develop his AI moderation idea into a viable business while strengthening his soft skills, particularly communication and rhetoric. The opportunity to work alongside a successful tour agency owner in Greece appeared to be the ideal environment to observe entrepreneurship in action and broaden his horizons both professionally and culturally.
