Farming outputs in agriculture depend on the character of production. Intensive farming systems create more market goods, extensive – more public goods. All these outputs are important for the society and should therefore be subject to integrated evaluation, in view of the specifics of farming. Aim of the research is to perform integrated evaluation of the impact of farming systems on outputs of an agricultural activity by identifying the private and public goods created. The developed model for integrated evaluation of agricultural outputs is applicable to determination of outputs of various farming systems, both in Lithuania and in other EU countries, by using the statistical information and valuation of agricultural public goods under monetary environmental valuation methods.
Project funding:
This research project is funded by the European Social Fund according to the 2014–2020 Operational Programme for the European Union Funds’ Investments, under measure’s No. 09.3.3-LMT-K-712 activity “Promotion of postdoctoral fellowships studies”.
Project results:
Integrated evaluation of the impact of farming systems on outputs of agricultural activity by identifying and considering private and public goods created.
