Evaluating Digital Transformation of SMEs (ErUDITe)

Project description:

During the digitalization and implementation of digital transformation strategy, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) encounter difficulties related to the lack of knowledge and resources. Therefore, research is based on the presumption that usage of integrated solutions of digitalization in enterprise’ activities brings new challenges for enterprises seeking to achieve a particular level of digital maturity. Moreover, this presumption reasons the importance of evaluating digital transformation of SMEs.
The aim of research – to reason digital transformation’s affects on SMEs activities performing its evaluation. During the research following activities will be performed: interdisciplinary theoretical studies of the phenomenon of digital transformation; to develop the methodology of empirical research and to carry out research in order to reveal affects of digital transformation and its qualitative features; integrate the results of project activities by identifying theoretical and practical aspects relevant for the development of digital transformation evaluation model.
