The KTU School of Economics and Business dates back to 1968. In 2014, the Faculties of Economics and Management and Social Sciences merged business, management and economics studies and we became, what we are proud of today! We are grateful to our ambitious students, alumni, researchers, expert teachers, social and business partners that we are one of the largest centres for the training of economics, business and management professionals in Lithuania, recognised not only in Lithuania but also abroad.
We are bold to embrace innovations and new developments, which is why we were the first in the Baltics to open the “Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab”, implement study programmes in accordance with international professional accreditation standards (ACCA, CIM, BMDA, CFA, EFMD, IPMA, SHRM and etc.), and now we are pursuing the international accreditation of business, management and economics by the AACSB, which is shared by fewer than 6% of the top global business schools.
The Faculty’s researchers have established strong links with distinguished international universities and colleagues from all over the world. Professors from Yale, Stanford, MIT, Berkley, Queensland, Montpellier, St. Gallen, Tampere, Dortmund, Copenhagen Business School and other universities attend to our international conferences and come to lecture to students.
