🎓Brief abstract:
Consumer behavior is in the focus of marketing managers and we understand the philosophy of the consumer behavior model, but no one knows what exactly affect individuals and in which direction.
Attitudes seem to be a powerful tool influencing consumers. The main purpose of this presentation is to identify and explain the attitudes of consumers in Slovak conditions based on the representative primary research.
According to statistically evaluated data were tested influence of factors representing demography of respondents such as: gender, age, education and income on three selected statements regarding sustainable consumer behavior. Especially level of education represents significant factor regarding consumer behavior. As long as the respondents’ ages were not shown to have an effect on the tested claims. The interpretation of the data clearly depends on the study’s limitations, which might be considered as: specifics of countries, economic conditions are changing, cultural element in each country differs, consumer behavior is dynamic over time.
