Business Administration KTU MBA

Business administration KTU MBA is a year-long journey of the development of change leadership and resistance to changes in the business environment. This study programme will provide the latest knowledge and international practices and skills necessary to develop an innovative business and a resilient organization. That is why change initiation and management are chosen as the axis of the KTU MBA study programme. During the studies, you will delve into technological trends and transformations, and in the context of the challenges and transformations caused by them will be able to:

  • form a business strategy and make innovative business development and/or organizational transformation decisions in conditions of uncertainty;
  • create prerequisites for the involvement and cooperation of all stakeholders (customers, employees, partners, etc.);
  • empower employee teams to implement organizational change.

This programme is intended for managers of business companies and organizations in the regions, managers of small and medium-sized companies, and middle managers of large companies responsible for implementing changes in organizations. Upon successful completion of studies, an international qualification in business administration is obtained.

KTU MBA main info
  • A 10–12-month programme of 60 ECTS, the content of which consists of 4 blocks of mandatory modules.
  • Classes on-campus are held 3 days a month (Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays) in a convenient location.
  • Other classes take place in the form of distance learning.
  • Lectures by high-level Lithuanian and foreign teachers and business practitioners.
  • Competence achievement progress is expected to be measured at the beginning and end of studies, following the Assurance of learning (AoL) methodology. Everyone who has successfully completed their studies will receive a certificate of competencies.
 

Practical projects on the example of real companies

The content of the programme is constructed through 4 interdisciplinary thematic fields:

  • Strategy and business models;
  • Technological trends and transformations;
  • Innovation management;
  • Organizational development.

The content is reinforced with practical activities – real group projects responding to 4 thematic fields.
